Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel your visit, we require at least 24 hours advanced notice.
– Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, as well as missed appointments (no- shows), will incur a $100 late fee.
– Late fees are not covered by insurance and must be paid prior to your next scheduled session.

Collaborative & Whole-Person Care: Meaningful outcomes rely on open, honest communication and active participation. Routine follow-ups are required to maintain safe prescribing practices and evaluate your treatment plan holistically.
– Prescription Refills: Refills are managed during your scheduled follow-up visits. Please request refills with adequate lead time to ensure uninterrupted continuity of care.
– Urgent Care & Emergencies: This practice provides outpatient virtual psychiatric care by appointment only and does not offer 24/7 crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call/text 988, text HOME to 741741, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Your privacy is paramount. All consultations, health records, and communications are strictly protected in full compliance with federal HIPAA regulations and state privacy laws. Secure electronic health records and encrypted communication platforms (such as our patient portal and Spruce Health app) are utilized to safeguard your Protected Health Information (PHI). At Inner Compass Psychiatry, we utilize a secure, modern tech stack designed to make your care confidential, convenient, and seamless:
– Care Portal & Scheduling (Alma): All appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing are powered through our secure Alma portal.
– Electronic Health Records & Prescribing (Veradigm): Your medical records, chart notes, and electronic prescriptions are managed through Veradigm to ensure safe, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant health data tracking.
– Encrypted Communication (Spruce Health): All phone calls, voicemails, and e-faxes travel through Spruce. For encrypted clinical messaging, photo sharing, and confidential updates, you can connect directly with our office via the Spruce app.

Inner Compass Psychiatry accepts select insurance plans as well as self-pay/out-of-network options, including Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Optum.
– In-Network: We bill directly to our contracted insurance partners. Please verify your outpatient telepsychiatry benefits prior to your first session.
– Out-of-Network: If we are out-of-network with your insurer, we can provide you with an itemized Superbill upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company.

For clients paying out-of-pocket or utilizing out-of-network benefits, transparent standard rates apply:
– Initial Integrative Psychiatric Evaluation (45–60 mins): $125
– Follow-Up Medication Management Visit (30 mins): $100
Payment is due at the time of service via a secure credit/debit card stored on file.
